Callie’s Daddy by Mary Wehr

calliesdaddy_detailTwenty-six-year-old Callie Shaw has needed a father figure in her life for many years, and when she meets Brandon Clay she wonders if she might have found the man to fill that role at last. Though he spoils her and loves her dearly, Brandon is not a man to be trifled with, and when Callie lies to him and puts herself in danger she soon finds herself bent over her new daddy’s lap for a stinging spanking on her bare bottom.

Though he does not hesitate to chastise her firmly when she misbehaves, Brandon never fails to hold Callie in his arms when her punishment is over, and his strict but loving discipline ignites a fire in her which can only be quenched by surrendering her body to his masterful lovemaking. But is she truly prepared to trust her daddy to do what is best for her, even when she has been really naughty and she knows that the spanking she has coming is one she will never forget?

Brandon spread his knees apart and guided her between them. “We have another issue to address. What did daddy tell you about wearing such revealing clothing in public?”

Callie expelled an exasperated sigh. She should be used to this line of questioning by now. This same prelude was always done before the main event. He’d ask her to explain what she had done wrong. She’d reply and then he’d ask her to tell him why he considered it wrong. Her entire body shook with anxiety. “Must we go through this big production every single time before I get punished?”

“Yes,” he replied patiently. “I need to be sure you know the ‘what’ and the ‘why’ of it. By the way, your impudent attitude is not helping any. Now, answer my question and lose the sass.”

“Because I’m not allowed to show off to other men what belongs to my daddy.”

“And what did you do?”

“I wore them anyway, but I have to when I work.”

“Ah, yes, and that’s why we’re here,” he replied flatly.

He was a force to be reckoned with. No matter how much she’d cry or stamp her feet, this walloping would be a doozy. She often wondered what a good sound spanking with a belt felt like. Well, she was about to find out. She hesitated for a moment, searching his face frantically for any sign of sympathy. No such luck. His demeanor remained stoic, the belt clutched in hand.

He upended her over one knee, securing her body by scissoring her between his legs. Callie wriggled beneath the firm smacks of his hand. “Don’t think this is the end of it and I changed my mind. I’m just warming you up.”

I really liked this story, this is the first book of Mary Wehr that I’ve read so for me she’s a new author. I will admit that in the third chapter I was confused, Callie is thinking of being a “middle” and wife. I’ve never heard of “little” being called that. It’s a sweet short story otherwise. I’d like to see her sister’s story also Colleen’s.
