I screamed at the injustice, laughed at her naivete, ooo’ed and aww’ed (yes, I know, I know) at the sexy parts, and cried at the end. I am exhausted! A good exhausted! This book had one of THE MOST DESCRIPTIVE AND SENSUOUS giving of our heroines maidenhood I have ever had the pleasure of reading. It was slow, passionate, erotic and filled with so much caring. . .  well, you just have to read it to understand the depth of it. The story had alien wars, intrigues, politics; but mostly, it was a love story. Wonderfully told. An HEA with the promise of immortality.

I think I might be getting better at picking winners because this book was definitely a winner. Dominant male. Check. Hot sex scenes. Check. Romance. Check. You can’t go wrong with this book.

★★★★★ Bookworm555 @ “A little confusing at first but a great story” on March 18, 2017
The story is a little confusing at first but as it developed, I could not put it down as I had to know what was going to happen next. The blurb really does not tell you much about this story. Roark is the Sentaran King and he kidnaps Saraska before her 21st birthday as retribution for an attack on his people by her father. Having been isolated her whole life, Saraska is really innocent and naive but feisty. Roark is doing his best to bring his people back from the losses of back to back wars. These two characters are well fleshed out and make the story enjoyable. The rest of the characters are basically names on a page that do things or say things, as there is not much to them but they do affect the story. The overall story is what really drug me in but it isn’t until the last part of the story when everything is revealed that it truly shines. The epilogue is very short but will bring a smile to your face. Grab a copy and enjoy.

It’s a sexy story with some unexpected twist. It well written and easy to read. The character are well developed and I couldn’t put it down once I started reading it.

★★★★★ Sam @ “I enjoyed reading about how Roark introduces Saraska to pleasure and …” on March 26, 2017
The blurb is inadequate to describe the plot twists and mysteries in this book which are interesting without being confusing. I enjoyed reading about how Roark introduces Saraska to pleasure and the spanking scene were great. I really enjoyed this book and its happy ending.
