I received Claimed by the Savages (the original title) from Stormy Night Publications and voluntarily reviewed this book. The only thing that changed was the name of the race of aliens that claimed Aimee.
I really like this author and I like the premise of this book. The story telling is good, but it took me until the end of the story to really like the characters (except Cole – loved him from t he beginning). Aimee comes across as a totally spoiled little witch that has no regard for anyone but herself. Tobias comes across as a total by the rules disciplinarian, control freak. Luke comes across as a misplaced, horny surfer dude. I also saw no reason for Arto – he is a cool concept but so sadly under used and didn’t seem to fit into the story (he would have fit perfectly had the Ollorins truly been savage cavemen). The sex is hot. The author also gives us an Epilogue (which I believe is an absolute essential for these shorter stories) that nicely wraps up the story and lets us know how our main characters have fared.

This story turned out better than what I was expecting. It’s the same great story you know by sara fields.
I was gifted an arc copy of this book from Stormy night publication with the promise of a review. Also I willingly reviewed this book.
